Responding to residents’ concerns is my priority. The message in Blean, Rough Common, Tyler Hill, Chestfield and Whitstable is clear.

Dear Resident,
I will use my experience of being a Parish Councillor, School Governor, Parochial Church Councillor and Voluntary Director and Chair of different charities along with my 15 years of working in Finance to serve you.
My priorities for our communities are: -
- to stand up for residents against large developments on our precious green fields on the edge of our local villages that destroy their integrity and removes vital farmland from food production and natural habitats for wildlife, creating congestion on our busy roads. We need homes but the right type of homes and in the right places with the necessary infrastructure.
- to be a strong voice for residents by listening and responding to your concerns and being available by joining you in community events. I have attended Save the Blean events, knocked on doors and know that there are issues apart from development that range from noise pollution from a factory in Whitstable, concerns with speeding in Chartham and Chestfield to a desire for a bus service in Rough Common.
- to scrutinise and provide oversight of your Council tax money to try to make sure it is spent wisely and communicate clearly what choices are being made.
I respect the 7 Nolan principles of public life and will always aspire to be guided by them while performing my duties for you: - Selflessness, Integrity, Objectivity, Accountability, Openness, Honesty and Leadership.
Best wishes,
