NHS Strikes Update

Today marks the 5th day of yet another damaging set of doctors' strikes.

Care will be cancelled. Lives will be risked, maybe lost. And all of us will face a £367 million bill.

Last year we warned Keir Starmer that a 28% pay rise with no conditions would not stop the strikes.

And, as we warned, the BMA have now come back for more.

The NHS is too important to be held hostage by militant trade unions.

Watch Kemi’s video from outside St Thomas' Hospital today to see how we'd take action.

The Conservative Party will act where Labour won’t.

We will introduce legislation to ban doctors from striking – just like the police and armed forces.

Because when doctors strike, patients die. It’s that serious.

We’d enforce Minimum Service Levels so that even during disputes essential care continues.

While Labour placate their trade union paymasters, we're committed to taking action.

👉 Watch Kemi’s video where she breaks down how we'd protect patients and stop the strikes for good.
