Canterbury Conservatives fundraiser lunch - Today, Canterbury Conservatives met at a local members home and raised funds for the Association - as customary, a raffle was held to help!

Members discussed local and national issues, particularly how poorly Keir Starmer's Labour Government is performing and the anger of the country in regards to its policy choices (particularly those not in Labour's General Election manifesto), Labour ministers "freebies" and the Labour Government's "cronies".

The Lab-Lib local coalition performance was also discussed; particularly the administration delaying Canterbury City Council's local plan (& how this could damage and increase risks to rate payers), park and ride costs, parking charges, bin strikes, cyber attacks, messing up transferring computer systems, along with 'Stodmarsh' - in summary, the administration are making a mess.
